WELCOME TO MY STORE
*THIS IS AN IMPORTANT MESSAGE TO ALL MY FANS IN THE UNITED KINGDOM*
I have been informed that from January 1 this year (2021), presumably as a result of Brexit, I am now required to register for VAT, charge you a 20% VAT surcharge, collect that money and return it to the UK on a quarterly basis. The time, cost and inconvenience of this administrative burden is not supportable. I’m pretty much a one-man band here, and I can’t take on that extra work.
I intend to continue shipping 10x8s to the UK, because they do not require a Customs form and will not, I think, be affected by this. However, effective immediately, items requiring to be shipped as packages and which do require a Customs declaration (copies of my book, tee-shirts and Spinechillers CDs) will no longer be available to order for customers in the UK.
I am upset at having to take this step, and I deeply regret the disappointment this may cause to my fans in the UK, but this is not a decision of my making. I hope you will understand this and appreciate the reasons why I have had to take this step.
Hey, maybe one day in the not-too-distant future, we’ll get to shake hands and do this across a table at a Convention. I hope so. In the meantime, please accept my apologies.
Peace and Pain
